Carole Knight – Registered Massage Therapist
Defining Success Through Patient and Community Wellness
Carole has been providing effective and compassionate care to her community for over 22 years. She provides comprehensive care to her patients by working closely with a wide range of healthcare providers to define complimentary, integrated treatment programs.
Carole provides care for people of all ages but specializes in the treatment of sports injuries. She worked with the Maple Leafs organization at the NHL and AHL levels for five years. The experience she gained treating some of the country’s top athletes has provided her with the expertise to offer safe, efficient and effective treatment for the prevention and management of sports injuries.
Carole’s passion for massage therapy is rooted in the tangible patient benefits she’s seen over the years. She’s got experience in a variety of techniques including myofascial release, deep tissue massage, pre and post-natal care, Swedish massage, infant, geriatric and post-operative treatments. Carole’s experience has demonstrated the efficacy of massage therapy to offer relief to patients struggling with both acute and chronic illnesses.
Patient education is a cornerstone of Carole’s practice. Effective treatment doesn’t end when the patient gets off the table, but continues with exercises and stretches that are integrated into her patient’s regular routines. Carole works with her clients to identify the root cause of their musculoskeletal complaints in order to rehabilitate and prevent injuries.
Carole is passionate about her local and global communities. She has dedicated her time volunteering her services with The Arthritis Society, MS Society, Kids Camp for Cancer, Vietnam Orphanage Relief Organization, as well as the Daffodil Place.
